At ISSA Engineering, we thrive on challenges that test our mettle, and our recent endeavor at the heart of the city was no exception. The LesMills refurbishment project was a testament to our expertise in architectural metalwork, showcasing our ability to bring dreams to life.
Our dedicated team detailed, fabricated, welded, and installed over 4 tons of balustrades, stairs, and infill structures, breathing new life into this iconic space. Architectural finishing, as any industry professional knows, is an intricate art. Our task extended to welding plates onto balustrades, a process that posed challenges in distortion control and meeting tight deadlines. But we embraced these challenges head-on and emerged victorious, with over 300 meters of precise welding work and 4 tons of steel skillfully crafted.
Adding to the complexity of the project was limited access to the site, a circumstance that only fueled our determination. Our skilled riggers and installers were up to the task, fitting a 1.5-ton, 7-meter-long stair component through a single entry door slightly more than 2 meters wide. Such feats are a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence.
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Cape for their trust and long-standing partnership. It’s collaborations like these that empower us to push the boundaries of engineering and design, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to quality, precision, and innovation. Stay tuned for more exceptional projects from ISSA Engineering.
